Metrona Cat aka Jackson is kind of our Cinderella story... in December of 2020 we bought this common looking sorrel stud colt that was a reject out of someone's cutting program. In March of 2021 I took him to CA and left him with Jared Jones to see what he "felt in him". It wasn't 2 weeks and he called and told us we better buy a Futurity Slot because this colt was legit! 7 months later we owned an NRCHA Futurity Finalist. Thanks to Jared's talent and dedication, as well as Jackson's talent and trainability they have a little over 30k in Open NRCHA earnings. He is currently still with Jared who has now moved to Scottsdale, AZ. Due to his show career we have not bred many mares to him yet. He has a few babies on the ground now. So far they sure are pretty headed! We are looking forward to getting a few grown up enough to see how they rider here soon. Our plain little reject turned into a gorgeous deep cherry chestnut with a big strong hind quarter, a baby doll head, adequate bone, and a classy presence that makes you know he is special. We have exciting plans for the upcoming years... you might even see him at the Worlds Greatest Horseman Futurity 2025!
